standing chairs

So I was looking more into standing vs. sitting after our last set of interviews.
Relevant links are at the bottom, but in summary, sitting is really bad for your health (back pain, weight gain, increased risk of diabetes, heart disease, cancer...) and people do way too much of it.  Walking a bit more, standing a bit more, can have a huge impact.

We were talking earlier about standing chairs; I did a quick look into those, and what I found were quite horrible looking, and I've never ever seen them in use (unlike the ball chairs).

There's definitely a need here.

Why sitting is bad:

this one is really well written: http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/02/23/stand-up-while-you-read-this/

Standing chairs:

the scariest chair I've seen; also the only actual 'standing chair' I could find: http://www.officeorganix.com/HealthP1.htm

a stool at standing height; I like the base aesthetics  http://work-benches.apluswhs.com/bench-stools-and-chairs/deluxe-standing-chair/

scroll down a bit and you find a chair that starts as standing but sinks to sitting as you sit down; not what we want, but rather elegant nevertheless  http://at.movingdesign.com/tabularasa/category/chapter-2/
